R290 is propane used as a hydrocarbon refrigerant. The Ambro Controls R290 cylinder contains high-purity R290 designed for servicing compatible refrigeration and air conditioning systems.
The Ambro Controls R290 cylinder is designed for use with the AC37 Cylinder Valve, sold separately. The valve connects to the cylinder via its 7/16″-28 UNEF connection and provides a 1/4″ SAE male connection for compatible service equipment.
R290 is classified as a Class 2.1 flammable gas. It should only be used to service equipment designed for R290 and in accordance with the cylinder instructions and applicable refrigeration safety procedures.
